About the Role:
The National Bobwhite and Grassland Initiative Foundation (NBGIF) is seeking a Delivery Specialist to help administer the Fire on the Forty Initiative —a Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) funded through the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
The RCPP incentive program provides financial assistance to Mississippi landowners to establish or manage grassland habitat for the benefit of bobwhite quail and other grassland-dependent species. This position provides direct technical assistance to private landowners and supports Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) private land staff as we guide landowners through program enrollment and implementation of conservation practices. The selected candidate will be supervised remotely by the Mississippi RCPP Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team and show a commitment to working with private landowners to support their conservation objectives.
