Field Facilitator

We are hiring Field Facilitators to support the delivery of community-level activities for a UNDP-funded peacebuilding initiative. Facilitators will serve as a vital link between project management and local communities, ensuring effective coordination and reporting. This is a field-based role requiring strong local knowledge and community engagement experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of peacebuilding initiatives at the governorate level.

  • Engage with local stakeholders, including community leaders, local authorities, and civil society organizations.

  • Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and focus group discussions.

  • Monitor field activities and provide timely reports and feedback to the Program Manager.

  • Ensure community needs and perspectives are integrated into program planning and implementation.

  • Assist with logistical arrangements for field activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Peace and Conflict Studies, Development Studies, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with communities on development or peacebuilding projects.

  • Proven knowledge of the cultural, social, and conflict dynamics in the specific governorate of assignment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to write field reports and document key findings and challenges.

  • Fluency in Arabic (and Kurdish where applicable); English proficiency is an advantage.
