We provide customers with the peace of mind needed to reliably and efficiently improve their operations.Partner with the bestAs a Field Operator, under general supervision, you will be responsible for all aspects of cable services including spooling and banding electrical cable that is utilized on ESP systems. This will be a coordinated effort with the Field Engineer, rig operators, and with Baker Hughes policies and procedures.As a Field Operator – Artificial Lifts, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting all aspects of cable services including spooling and banding electrical power cable utilized on ESP systems
  • Spooling cable onto cable reel as the tubing is being pulled out of the well. Bands cable onto tubing as the down unit and tubing are being run into the well
  • Responsible for spooling cable onto a cable reel when the ESP is pulled, or banding cable to tubing during installation of ESP, and equipment maintenance.
  • Managing cable services including spooling and banding electrical power cable utilized on ESP systems
  • Maintaining cable service truck and trailer per DOT regulations and keeping proper DOT log books and paper works
  • Conducting field analysis and tests cable strings after they have come out of the well as well as repairs and assisting in cable repair center when necessary.

  • Have a High school diploma or equivalent along with Industry experience
  • Be able to obtain CDL-A Class within 3 months of starting the role
  • Be able to lift 50lbs and be able to perform physical and tool-based tasks
  • Demonstrate a good technical and mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills
  • Have the ability to work outside during difficult seasonal weather conditions
  • Have good knowledge of HSE requirements and be able to follow safety policies and procedures
  • Be a good team player and display good communication skillsve basic computer skills
