Field Service EngineerSalary: £40,000-£45,000 + £2,000 Location Allowance (if within 50 miles of Central London)
Location: Field-based – Covering A23/M23 corridor (Croydon to Crawley)
Hours: Monday-Friday (Field-based – 80% planned, 20% reactive)
Start Date: ASAP

Working Covering A23/M23 corridor (Croydon to Crawley), you’ll be maintaining and repairing specialist machinery with a strong focus on customer service and technical excellence.Whether you’re from an automotive, food production, manufacturing, or facilities background, if you’ve got electro-mechanical skills and enjoy hands-on field-based work, this could be your next step.Field Service Engineer Benefits:

• £40,000-£45,000 salary + £2,000 location allowance
• Overtime: 1.33x (Weekdays), 1.5x (Saturdays), 2.0x (Sundays & Bank Holidays)

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on high-spec machinery
• Diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults
• Installing and commissioning new equipment at customer sites
• Advising clients on technical issues and delivering excellent customer service
• Completing service records and job reports accurately
• Attending industry training and staying updated on the latest techniques

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

• Strong electro-mechanical background (any industry considered)
• Previous field service experience is a bonus
• Confident with fault finding and reading schematics
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in the field
