About the role

• This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

What you’ll doAs Shop Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:Carrying out preventative, routine and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shopsEnsuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working as effectively and efficiently as possibleCarrying out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs and modificationsEnsuring machine downtime is minimised whilst repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shopsAbout youYou will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:17th Edition Electrician Qualification (ideally)Significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvementsGood organisational skillsExcellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and carry out a varied workload in all trades, on both equipment and propertyA Full UK Driving Licence is essentialKnowledge of Food Safety & SHEExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility in working hours (as may be required to work different shifts each week or asked to work overtime)IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and TeamsEnjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results togetherAre supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is goodWant to develop and are ready to work alongside some great people and have lots of fun on your Greggs journey!About GreggsHere at Greggs, we love what we do, and we have fun!
