Position Summary:
The Department of Medicine is comprised of 11 Divisions by Medicine Subspecialty. The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology faculty are renowned for conducting leading-edge research and perfecting clinical applications for new technologies—all with the goal of delivering the highest quality patient care. The division’s main clinical enterprise is the H.H. Chao Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center, a multidisciplinary center where gastroenterologists, hepatologists, oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and surgeons work together to deliver superior patient care.
Provide administrative support to the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is the areas of clinical billing , payroll, and financial transactions. Reconcile billing and procedures data with source material to ensure procedures are accurately billed. Perform all KFS, purchasing and process reimbursements for the Division consistent with university policy. Advise faculty and staff of policies for travel and entertainment reimbursements. Reconcile expenses, and payroll to general ledgers and provide financial statements to faculty monthly. Assist faculty with clinic and template changes

$26.92 – $36.64 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $26.92 – $46.36 (Hourly Rate)

Required:
- Two years of experience in physician billing, purchasing or other accounting functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Working knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems.
- Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software.
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making.
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel,and Tableau Professional software tools
- Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff.
Special Conditions Required:
Must pass a background check. Occasionally support events outside of work hours.
