We are delighted to be working with one of our favourite Sheffield-based clients on a brand-new assignment for a Finance Analyst to join a fast-growing tech business. This business hold a strong international presence operating across several different continents, whilst providing a range of software and data services to a varied pool of clientele including government and healthcare.This is a newly created role born out of consistent growth that will support the wider FP&A team whilst reporting into the Financial Controller. This opportunity would be suitable for candidates from an analytical / FP&A background looking to broaden their skillset within a well-established technology business that are about to implement a brand-new system.This business have strong ideals on employee wellbeing as well as work-life balance, offering progression into a more senior role, as well as a strong bonus scheme and flexible working arrangements. This is a rare opportunity that is likely to be filled very quickly given the business prospects and wider package.
Duties will include:

• Production of Financial Models to provide business insight into balance sheet, P&L and cashflow forecasts
• Consolidate monthly forecasts, collaborating with Finance Business Partners
• Provide insightful commentary and analysis
• Support the annual budgeting process through data analysis
• Assist in developing financial forecasts to guide strategic planning
• Act as a central point of contact for finance business partners, ensuring consolidation and alignment.
• Drive and improve management reporting systems for actual, budgeted, and forecasted information.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance reporting tools and systems
• Design, develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports for analysis
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial and operational data
• Continuously improve reporting processes to meet evolving business needs

Person Specification:

• Part-Qualified or Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Experience of Financial Modelling
