The Finance Analyst will play a key role in the Accounting & Finance department, providing essential financial insights and guidance in the Transport & Distribution industry. This opportunity is based in Warrington and offers the chance to be part of a motivated and professional team.

  • Analysing financial data and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Identifying trends and financial risks that might impact company performance.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to improve financial processes and systems.
  • Preparing financial reports and presenting findings to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Participating in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as required.

Finance Analyst |Permanent – Warrington – Plus study supportA successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • A strong academic background in finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar finance role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • An ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
