Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in audit coordination? Peabody is seeking a Finance Audit Coordinator to play a key role in managing the audit process, ensuring compliance, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

• Project manage the audit process from start to finish, acting as a key coordinator between finance and the audit team.
• Plan and forecast for upcoming audits, ensuring all stakeholders are well-prepared.
• Manage audit request lists, tracking and securing necessary information within agreed timelines.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to the Group Reporting Manager.
• Maintain comprehensive audit files, documentation, and evidence.
• Facilitate communication between auditors, management, and finance teams.
• Identify and address potential audit process roadblocks proactively.
• Support finance colleagues in improving audit processes and project management.

Could It Be You?To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Part-qualified accountant, working towards full qualification.
• Project management and audit experience, ideally as an Audit Associate or Audit Senior.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence in liaising with senior stakeholders and external auditors.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting systems (Sun Systems preferred).
• Experience in the public sector (ideal but not essential).

This role will require a minimum of two days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office.Benefits of Working at Peabody:
