About the Organization | The Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security (Dallaire Institute) was established in 2007 by retired Lieutenant-General the Honourable Roméo Dallaire, former Force Commander of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda (UNAMIR). Our mission is to develop new strategies and tactics to progressively end the recruitment and use of children as soldiers worldwide. |
Job Summary | Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance and Grants Officer will provide financial and administrative support in the day-to-day running of the Dallaire Institute’s Finance Department and Grant Department. This will include handling of source documentation, recording of data, month-end processes and reconciliations and preparation of financial reports. The Finance and Grants Officer will also monitor the finance activities in the organization’s overseas field offices and work closely with field finance officers. |
