Finance Assistant P2P

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Oncology Finance team.

The post holder will be a key member of the departmental Purchase to Pay (P2P) team working alongside a small team. As a Finance Assistant, you will provide a valuable link between the research scientists and suppliers. The successful candidate will have a professional and methodical approach to tackling high levels of workload to strict deadlines and be confident with working under minimal supervision.

You should possess outstanding teamwork and communication skills, coupled with proficient IT abilities. While previous experience in a university setting is preferred, familiarity with Oracle Finance is considered an asset.

About you

You will need to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. Previous experience in financial administration is essential. You will possess experience in computer-based accountancy systems.

You will have high numeracy skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
