Finance Associate

We have a number of great opportunities based across various campuses for our Level 3 & 4 AAT students. We are seeking a flexible hourly-paid Finance Associate to become part of our Finance department.

As a Finance Associate, you will play a role in the success of our students through:

• Participating in maintaining financial records by accurately entering and updating financial data.
• Processing applications for College Bursaries during peak periods.
• Processing and reconciling invoices, ensuring attention to detail and timely completion.

Our ideal candidates will have demonstrated knowledge of fundamental financial concepts and an aptitude for working with numbers and basic analytical skills, coupled with a willingness to learn and develop the ability to interpret and analyse financial data, alongside the following qualifications:

• Studying Level 3 or 4 AAT at Bedford College.
• English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year

What is an Associate?

Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you.  Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.
