Finance Director

Role Overview

Serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Finance Director is a crucial role to bring leadership to both strategic development of Pioneers UK and Ireland’s (PiUKI) financial resources and PiUKI’s financial operation.

• Using proven change management skills to help oversee the immediate programme of change of integrating two finance systems and teams and to establish new and effective ways of working.
• Contributing effectively to PiUKI’s decision-making to ensure that high performance standards are set and achieved with integrity across all aspects of financial operation and compliance as well as enabling stewardship of its material resources to the best fulfilment of its Charitable objects, mission statement and Core Values.
• Acting as company secretary to the Board of trustees to ensure prompt and accurate reporting to the Charity Commission and Companies House.
• Leading and inspiring the finance team to ensure PiUKI has in place and implements effective plans, policies, procedures and systems for all financial operations.
