The Civil & Environmental Engineering Department (CEE) is a joint department in the School of Engineering and the Doerr School of Sustainability. The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department seeks a well-qualified candidate for a full time Finance Manager position. This position reports to and works in partnership with the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO). The Finance Manager will manage budgets and expenses for all key areas in the department. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service, is proactive and a dependable self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The position will provide financial analysis, forecasts, review and approve transactions, and make recommendations to the DFO and other departmental leaders, including faculty. Projects and responsibilities include creating budgets and forecasts; promoting best practices for compliance and proactive financial management; ensuring compliance with policies and procedures; and serving as subject matter expert for complex financial, policy, procedural, and technical issues. This position manages a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, requiring a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, productivity, accuracy, organization, sound judgment and effective decision-making. This position is eligible to work a hybrid or modified hybrid schedule.

Pay Range:
The expected pay range for this position is $110,000 to $143,000 per annum.
