Finance Manager (Controllership)

The incumbent will provide advisory and operational support to the faculties and schools on Fund Management/Grant Management and University compliance matters. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of the policy and procedures of the different finance processes
• Be able to provide good advice to the Finance Leads
• Drive and participate in process improvement projects/initiatives.
• Management of different stakeholders from the departments’ finance and/or operational units.
• Ensure SLA is met for WBS review and ensure all queries from the Schools/Faculties of the University are attended to promptly.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 5 years working experience.
• Experience in financial system implementation and/ upgrade is a plus.
• Excellent attention to details and strong process improvement mindset
• Experience in SAP (Preferably)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Team player and collaborative with other teams
