We want our people to be whoever they want to be, because we believe people who bring their best selves to work, do their best work..Job DescriptionAbout the RoleThis role is responsible for forecasting, analysing, and reporting on returns, our average selling price and our average basket value. You will work closely with the senior global commerce director and her team, as well as the buying and merchandising teams to review performance of these metrics and drive forward business understanding. You will also be responsible for the development of a team of 3 analysts.What You’ll be Doing
- Managing and developing a team of 3, including 2 senior finance analysts and an analyst
- Responsible for supporting the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to drive the best investment in marketing spend.
- Updating senior management on weekly and monthly marketing spend vs forecast and prior year
- Working closely with marketing team to analyse the efficiency, profitability and incrementality of our performance marketing spend by channel and territory
- Model the potential impact of brand marketing opportunities to drive incremental customer acquisition and retention, providing business cases to drive sound and logical investment decisions
- Driving strong BAU reporting on marketing spend and KPIs
- Tracking and challenging the business on marketing/customer initiatives
- Working closely with the global trade teams to ensure alignment between marketing spend and sales forecasts and identify any opportunities to support trade
- Responsible for forecasting and analysing our premier scheme
- Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
QualificationsAbout you
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Strong communication and the capability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and line management skills
- Financial modelling and use of financial and reporting systems (MS Excel, SQL Server, Microstrategy, TM1, Dynamics all preferred)
- Excellent presentational skills (MS PowerPoint) and confident presenting to senior management
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
