Finance Manager Myanmar

What we are looking for

NRC is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will support fresh and innovative teams of highly professional finance staff across NRC’s areas of operations.

If you are an action-oriented, execution-driven, and hands-on professional; with a background in developing and integrating distinctive strategies; holds a track record of fostering a collaborative environment and building and leading engaging and effective teams; and is innovative, adaptive, and analytically inclined, then this is the role for you!

What you will do

• Financial overview and monthly financial reporting.
• Financial systems, routines, and procedures implementation.
• Budget control and cashflow monitoring.
• Report and analysis provision.
• Account reconciliations.
• Financial management routines and systems.
• Standard operating procedures development and updates.
• Anti-corruption policy implementation.
• Line management and training staff with financial responsibilities.

What you will bring

• Senior financial management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
• Computer software and modern accounting systems proficiency.
• Remote team management, supervision, and support experience.
• Start-up and/or exit exposure.
• Complex and volatile context exposure, working with displacement affected people.
• Myanmar context exposure and knowledge.
• English fluency, both written and verbal.

What we offer

• Bangkok, Thailand duty station.
• 12-month contract duration.
• 20% travel, approximately.
