The Organisation
The National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) is a human rights-based membership organisation working to advocate nationally on behalf of members with a disability from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Believing that their members and their families are experts in their own care and support, NEDA strives to ensure members’ freedom from discrimination by providing a voice to represent their community, determine policy and to guide service delivery.

The Role
Reporting to the CEO and managing two direct reports, you will coordinate all office administration procedures, with responsibilities including;
- Oversee financial management including payroll, AP, AR and end of month reconciliations
- Establish organised and effective office operations, including intra-office communications
- Provision of executive support booking staff travel and accommodation within approved budgets
- Assist with the development of presentations, documentation, and other key organisational materials
- Ensure purchasing and IT requirements are met including hardware, software and systems
Skills Required
You will have general management experience in a career ideally developed within the community/membership/non-profit sector with the capability to undertake a broad range of duties. With the ability to work with high levels of self-direction, you have natural leadership skills and are able to motivate and empower others.
You also have the following experience;
- Expertise in general financial and administration management, using MYOB and Office 365
- Excellent organisational skills with flexibility to manage competing priorities
- Successfully build and maintain collaborative relationships a wide range of stakeholders
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to disability and human rights across diverse communities
