About the role
Join our Finance team (of two!) and help keep our growing agency running smoothly. As our Finance Officer, you’ll support our Financial Controller with day-to-day operations, from bank reconciliations to payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented and proactive, ready to contribute ideas and evolve our finance practices.
Your focus:
- Accounting: Handle bank reconciliations, payroll, super payments, end-of-month procedures, and ensure data accuracy
- Commercials: Manage invoicing, track budgets, assist with financial reports, and follow up on project health and client payments
- Support: Help the team, clients, and stakeholders with finance-related queries
Requirements:
You have
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, managing business finances at an operational level
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to work autonomously with a proactive mindset
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

The details
- Full-time preferable, ongoing role based in Melbourne/Naarm
- Hybrid role
- Start date will ideally be around Sep/Oct but we’re flexible
