Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the financial management and accounting of the organization in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulations.
- Preparation and monitoring of the annual budget in collaboration with the Operations Director and other relevant departments.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of financial records and reports for internal monitoring purposes as well as for external audits.
- Monitoring and controlling revenues and expenditures to ensure compliance with the budget and identify any deviations.
- Conducting financial analysis and forecasts to assess the organization’s financial performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Preparation of financial reports for donors, funding agencies, and other external stakeholders as per requirements and deadlines.
- Ensuring compliance with all tax and legal requirements related to the organization’s financial matters.
- Supporting the organization with administrative tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor or Diploma in Finance, Management, or related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance Experience in a non-profit organization is a must.
- Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: Strong organizational skills, good at multi-tasking and flexible.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting financial data.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and Badael values (Respect, Diversity & Integrity).
- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision. Good task prioritization skill with people management skill.
- Positive attitude, Excellent and team-oriented person.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and German, Arabic is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and in Excel particularly.
