Finance Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Westminster Theological Centre (WTC)’s finance team as Finance Officer working with the Finance Director. The role involves regular financial reconciliation, accounting and reporting responsibilities as well as involvement in other financial related projects. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be organised, proactive and detail focused, with the ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified (or part- qualified), be very familiar with accountancy software, Excel, and G Suite, have excellent written communication skills, and be a strong team player.

This is a part-time, permanent position for 15-16 hours per week ideally over 4 days per week (to be agreed with the successful candidate). The position attracts a salary of £28,000 – £33,000 FTE per year depending on experience and qualifications, as well as access to a pension scheme. Annual holiday allowance is 10-11 days per calendar year (25 days FTE) plus a pro rata allocation for bank holidays.

The successful candidate will be based at WTC’s offices in Cheltenham. There may be a requirement to attend the September and/or December Residential(s) in Nottingham.
