  • HEW 5 $77,114 – $86,490  + 17% Superannuation

The Finance Services Officer will be part of a collaborative, customer-focused team and will provide a professional and efficient level of service. The position is suited to a digitally savvy person who pays attention to detail, enjoys problem solving, responding to customer requests and positively contributes to a team culture. As a Finance Services Officer you will:

  • Provide a high-level customer focussed support, advice and assistance to users of Finance services through a range of channels including phone, email and digital, ensuring enquiries are addressed promptly and accurately
  • Conduct day to day purchase processing for faculties and portfolios, including triaging of workflow, raising purchase orders, supplier invoice requests, and ad hoc payments to ensure achievement of operational objectives
  • Consult with available sources to gather relevant information and seeking the expertise and advice of other people as appropriate
  • Build productive relationships with a diverse range of existing stakeholders and actively seeking to maintain positive relationships

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Certificate III in Business or a tertiary qualification in accounting or similar field; OR
  • An equivalent combination of relevant skills, relevant work experience and/or education/training
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively as a member of a team and in working independently
  • Knowledge of a finance service area e.g. Accounts payable, purchasing or
  • Experience applying judgement and initiative in an accounting or financial environment is desirable
