POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Finance Team Leader at the ICRC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the accounts receivable, asset and lease management, and investment functions within our Financial Shared Services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
MAIN TASKS
- Lead and supervise a team of analysts and specialists, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable, asset and lease management, and investment processes, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and implement strategies for establishing best practices, policies, and procedures to optimize the processes, enhance controls, and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with Business Process Owner and cross-functional teams to resolve issues, address escalations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with ICRC policies and procedures in all activities, including internal quality controls.
- Participates in projects aimed at developing financial system, by proposing solutions for financial accounting and related procedures and contributing to project design.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable, asset and lease management, and investment metrics and performance indicators.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
- Certified Public Accountant
- Four or more years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, asset and lease management, investment or financial shared services
- Experience with Peoplesoft and JD Edwards
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
