Title: Finance Volunteer (National)
LOCATION:
Amman
TEAM/PROGRAMME: Finance
CONTRACT LENGTH:
6 months -5 working days per week (volunteer Agreement)
CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: the role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:
A voluntary agreement is an opportunity for an individual to utilize her/his skills for the good cause and has an exposure to develop at work; such engagement provides Save the Children with an opportunity to develop long-term partnership and to benefit from the volunteer’s skills, knowledge and experience.
Objectives and Outputs of Role:
- Review all invoices before payment in accordance with SC procedures and
- Ensure proper supporting documentation before payment.
- Scanning & archiving all related Finance documents.
- Participate in donor and SCI audits and ensure that all documents are provided to auditors in a timely manner
