Salary £30-35k (DOE) + Study SupportLusona Consultancy has an exciting opportunity to join our service sector client within Glasgow City Centre for the role of Financial Analyst. Reporting to the wider finance team this role will be responsible for preparing various reports and analysis for the business. In addition, you will support projects relating to automation and overall process improvement, providing a varied role. Ideal for an ambitious, analytical, data driven individual.Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports, alongside assisting with the corresponding analysis.
• Understanding and running existing macros, as well as building knowledge of VBA.
• Creating and maintaining process documentation for reporting.
• Assisting with the scheduling and running of various automated processes.
• Assisting with making improvements to current reporting processes and procedures.
• Providing support for answering financial queries from the wider business.

Applicants will have excellent excel skills, for example can create formula and analyse data accordingly, as well as a showcase a basic understanding of macros and VBA. You will have previous experience within a finance department and have the desire to progress into a more analytical/technical role. Overall, you will have strong communication skills to collaborate as part of the wider team, as well as analytical and data manipulation skills. Applicants should be actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA/ACCA.Our client offers a generous benefits package, as well as full study support creating opportunities for personal and career progression.
