Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst, reporting to the Director of Endowments
and Operations, will perform a broad array of accounting and
financial functions including preparation of journal entries to
record fees and earnings, calculation and distribution of spendable
income, reconciliation of endowment transactions to account
balances, and assist in performing research, analysis and
projections related to the Foundation’s endowment. The Financial
Analyst will serve as the point of contact with University
Relations staff, regarding requests for specialized donor
reporting. The position will work daily with endowment management
software, accounting software, and Excel spreadsheets to ensure
that financial transactions are recorded properly in the
foundation’s financial and reporting systems. The Financial Analyst
is responsible for assisting the Director with providing high-level
analytical support and development of financial models and
scenarios.
