Financial Control | 6 Months | London | Hybrid | £300-400 p/d inside IR35Investigo are partnered with a key player in the Challenger Bank/Fintech space looking for a talented individual to join to support the business their a business audit period.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
• Analyse and explain variances in financial data, providing insights to senior management.
• Reconcile key accounts, oversee balance sheet integrity, and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, preparing relevant schedules and supporting year-end audit activities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and controls to drive efficiency.

Requirements:

• Fully or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in financial control within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, regulatory reporting, and general ledger systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
