As our next Financial Counsellor, with your skills and experience, you will assess and analyse our clients’ situations and provide them with financial information to empower them to achieve financial well-being.

Your Experience
To be eligible for this role a Diploma of Financial Counselling or a commitment to complete a Diploma within 2 years is essential. Additionally, you will hold a current membership (or be eligible for membership) of a relevant Financial Counsellors Association.
You will be a person who brings a sound knowledge of case management and an ability to work within a framework, conduct effective risk assessments and prioritise issues impacting or potentially impacting the safety of our clients such as mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse and family violence.
Your formal expertise, your genuine heart and your adept communication skills, both written and verbal, will be paramount. Furthermore, your ability to effectively advocate and negotiate on behalf of clients to empower them to achieve financial independence will be an essential asset.
