This role involves identifying and managing financial risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the financial services industry, specifically banking.

  • Analyse financial transactions and patterns for signs of fraudulent activity.
  • Work in coordination with the Risk & Compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Generate detailed reports on financial crime trends.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials for staff about financial crime prevention.
  • Provide recommendations for improving existing processes and procedures related to risk management.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss and address financial crime issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in financial crime and related legislation.

Financial Crime Analyst role – Temp to Perm (London)|Financial Crime role within bankingA successful Financial Crime Analyst should have:

  • A solid educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of financial crime, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and compliance matters.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
