Position Summary
North York Community House (NYCH) provides year-round Financial Empowerment (FE) services at a variety of community spaces across the Greater Toronto Area, including public libraries and our main NYCH location. We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable team member to support our core financial empowerment team, currently delivering services across four locations: three public libraries and our primary NYCH site. This is a mobile position that requires travel between locations and the flexibility to work Saturdays (9:30 am – 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break) and occasional weekday evenings (e.g., 11:30 am – 7:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break). The successful candidate will support the delivery of one-on-one and group-based financial literacy and empowerment services tailored to the needs of low-income newcomers and residents.

Rate of Pay: $27.58-$29.90/hour
Hours: 28 hours/week
Reports To: Manager, Mobile Settlement and Financial Empowerment Services
Duration: Aug. 2025-Dec. 2025 (possibility of renewal)
Location: In-person, various public libraries and NYCH Ranee locations
