Using our suite of digital banking products and services enables these organisations to deliver remarkable financial services to their clients.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic FinOps Analyst to join our Business Support Team. Reporting to the Business Support Lead, this role will be responsible for the administration of our financial operations, focusing on budget tracking, forecasting, cost / revenue analysis, and licensing management. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our financial procedures, ensuring transparency across departments, and enabling informed decision-making through detailed financial insights.Key Responsibilities
- Third-Party Licensing Process: You will be responsible for ensuring that we have an accurate inventory of licensing information which our Financial Control, and Operational teams can rely on. You will achieve this though the maintenance of our third-party licensing process through detailed tracking of spend vs forecast and renewals are submitted in a timely manner.
- Budgeting and Reporting Improvements: Responsible for implementing and refining budgeting and reporting procedures to enhance the quality of financial forecasting. Focus on accurate financial tracking and reporting to the Head of Cloud and Support, streamlining processes to reduce the time required for monthly closings.
- Cost Visibility: Improve and maintain a process that provides transparent cost insights to colleagues across the organisation (AWS / on premise hosting / third party costs etc) Enable informed decision-making by ensuring all team members understand how their work impacts the company’s financial health.
- KPI Tracking and Action Plans: Monitor key financial performance indicators relating to costs and revenue. Take ownership of relevant action plans to address areas requiring improvement, driving forward initiatives that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
QualificationsWe are interested in hearing from you, if you have most of the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management, with a background in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and produce actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex financial information in an understandable manner.
- Experience in analysing AWS cost data (cost explorer / quicksight etc)
- Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
