We currently have entry-level traineeships available at our Collingwood office. Our traineeships are full time for 12 months and provide a great opportunity for individuals who have limited work experience and have not undertaken study since finishing school.

Bank Australia offers a high quality traineeship program in a supportive environment. Trainees will experience working in a professional and successful banking organisation dedicated to responsible banking while undertaking a Certificate III in Business.

This position is placed within Distribution Support Team. The Financial Services Trainee will undertake compliance related administrative duties to support the day-to-day operations of the team.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and refine your customer service skills (interpersonal, verbal and written)
  • Improve your administration, time management and problem solving skills
  • Gain a good working knowledge and understanding of banking practices, policies and processes
  • Build a solid foundational understanding of the banking sector
  • Learn new systems and banking processes
  • Be part of and experience a professional work environment
  • Complete the Financial Services Reform Act (FSRA Tier 2) certification, enabling you to establish client relationships and analyse needs, negotiate client solutions, general and personal advice on general insurance
  • Complete the Certificate III in Financial Services.

A salary will be paid in accordance with the Banking, Finance and Insurance Award 2020.
