Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with an industry-renowned manufacturing business based in Doncaster in their recruitment for a Financial Site Controller. This business has a strong international presence, operating continentally. Following an extensive period of growth within their UK division – the brand-new position of Financial Site Controller has been created. This position will report directly into the Site Manager whilst working closely with the UK Senior Leadership Team.This position is ideal for a qualified individual with previous manufacturing experience looking to take on a commercially driven role within a larger business.As Financial Site Controller you will hold responsibility for influencing strategic decisions that will drive performance within the UK division of the business, as well as leading various reporting processes and delivering these results to multiple stakeholders across the wider operational team.Duties will include:

• Business Partnering with Operational Teams to drive profitability
• Responsibility for monthly reporting including KPI reporting and analysis
• Ownership of inventory accounting including reconciliations and stock counts
• Leading monthly budgeting and forecasting processes
• Performing month-end close activities including full Management Account production and variance reconciliations
• Ownership of Capital Expenditure Budgeting process
• Management of Capital Investment process
• Leading continuous improvements of department as and when required
• Assisting in audit process – acting as a point of contact for external auditors

Person Specification:

• Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry
• Proactive and strong business mentality to drive performance
