This is a casual position located in Campbelltown NSW. $60.27 per hour.

About the opportunity:
Uniting is seeking a First Nations Service Delivery Advisor who will support our family preservation program by fostering strong connections with First Nations families, communities and services. Your role will include providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed consultation to our program staff, ensuring that Uniting’s services are effective and respectful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with First Nations communities, including elder groups and community organisations.
- Collaboration: Work with First Nations services like Tharawal Aboriginal Medical Services and SWSLHD Aboriginal health services to support coordinated casework.
- Resource Awareness: Develop and maintain awareness of First Nations resources and supports available to staff, identifying and addressing gaps.
- Staff Development: Help program staff continuously improve their cultural responsiveness and implement appropriate frameworks and supports for First Nations families.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in service provision and support leadership in developing actionable goals.
- Support Embedding Principles: Assist in embedding Uniting’s First Nations Delivery Principles.
Your Qualifications & Experience
- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person – This is an identified position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. All applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage. Aboriginality is a genuine qualification authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination ACT 1977
- Current Drivers License and Current NSW WWCC
- Experience working within Aboriginal Communities and cultural knowledge around service delivery
- Experience working with children and families
