Fisheries Biologist 1

In this Fisheries Biologist 1 position, you will support the Area Fisheries Manager (AFM) in the conduct of fisheries management activities for Fisheries Management Area 4, the North Branch Susquehanna River basin; specifically, sub-basins 4 and 5. Your work will involve collecting and analyzing biological, physical, chemical, and social data for fisheries management needs. We will rely on you to apply your knowledge of fisheries biology principles and practices, as well as utilize various references sources to identify aquatic organisms and make use of software, statistical analysis packages, and databases to collect and analyze this data. This includes communicating your findings through reports, correspondence, and oral presentations.
