Strong Group are currently working with an established & respected Main Contractor in the Surrey area who are actively searching for a capable interior Fit Out Estimator to add to their pre-construction team.This Commercial Fit Out main contractor is passionate and enthusiastic about providing interior design, refurbishments & shopfitting’s to the retail, leisure, corporate and catering sectors. This Main contractor is based in Surrey however work with clients across the south of England. Looking for a Fit Out Estimator to join them on a permanent basis. You’ll be working within a busy department as an Interior Fit Out Estimator, getting involved in the pre-construction phase of the projects within a team of 2.Are you passionate about working as an Estimator?
Do you have experience within Joinery/ Commercial Kitchen or Catering?Information:
Title: Fit Out Estimator Salary: £40,000 (Negotiable, Dependent on experience)
40 Hours Per Week Schedule: Monday-FridayThe Fit Out Estimator Role:
-Analysing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation to estimate cost
-researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
-Assessing the financial, technical, and operational risks of the project
-Visiting project sites to gather information
-Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements.
-Comply with Estimating Best Practice processes
-Responsible for receipt of accurate records of tender and contract documents (assisted by document controller
-Present tender at settlement meeting and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of best winning approach to be takenThe successful Fit Out Estimator must have:

• Strong computer skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience in valuing construction work
• Confidence
• Have a strong background in the Fit Out industry covering both CAT A/B projects.
• Have at least 2 years’ experience as an estimator
• Be able to Identify opportunities for improvement, particularly measurable improvement, in all areas of the business including quality / business and environmental issues

The salary for this Fit Out estimator position has been quoted as £40,000 however the client will be flexible with this figure dependant on experience. Our client will certainly consider a higher salary for an exceptional candidate.Benefits:
