About the role
MND NSW is seeking applications for a delivery driver and equipment maintenance person to join the FlexEquip team.
FlexEquip is an equipment library that provides assistive technology (aids and equipment) for people living with motor neurone disease and other progressive neurological conditions.
The purpose of this role is to provide, maintain and promote the provision of assistive technology through the FlexEquip equipment library.
This position will assist in the provision of equipment to people with MND and NDIS participants in NSW and ACT in an efficient and accurate manner.
Do you have:
- Current drivers license with an excellent driving record as a safe and courteous driver
- Well organised, good time management and excellent prioritisation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of basic disability equipment to complete minor repairs and maintenance
- Work well as part of a team
- Ability to take direction, working autonomously and be flexible as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to clean equipment to meet infection control requirements as required
- Experience in using databases/client management systems
- Demonstrated ability using the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of MND, while an advantage is not a prerequisite as training and a comprehensive orientation program will be provided
