We have hours available in both the Adult Community service and our Inpatient Ward.Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities of the role includeEnsure the highest possible standard of care for patients and supporting relatives during their careParticipating in the assessment and provision of care needs for patientsEnsuring all care is documented correctly electronically, in line with mandatory and legal requirementsDelivering care as part of a team alongside our medical teamEssential requirements of the role includeNVQ level 2/3 in Health and Social care or equivalentFlexible approach to working hours, times and days of the week, including night shifts and weekendsWilling to undertake further professional training/qualificationsFull UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle (Adult Community Service)Please noteposts are subject to Enhanced DBS clearance and full right to work in the UK.Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship.About usellenor is a hospice charity in Gravesend providing palliative and end-of-life care within the local community.   • Working within a specialist palliative care setting

  • Ability to work without direct supervision and use own initiative
  • Up-to-date clinical nursing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to work in stressful and emotive situations
  • Good understanding of the needs of patients and relatives during end-of-life care.
