Position Overview

Join the elite team of flight instructors at Massey University School of Aviation!

Located at the picturesque Manawatū campus in Palmerston North, Massey University School of Aviation is renowned for its commitment to excellence in flight training. Our school boasts ISO accreditation and offers New Zealands exclusive integrated flight training program leading to a Bachelor of Aviation Air Transport Pilot degree (BAv ATP). With a fleet of state-of-the-art Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft equipped with Garmin 1000 avionics, we provide unparalleled training opportunities.

We are currently seeking four passionate B-Category Flight Instructors to mentor our BAv ATP students. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in guiding and supervising students to ensure their success in the aviation industry. We welcome applications from instructors who possess strong interpersonal skills, a dedication to safety, and a desire to make a meaningful impact in ab initio flight instruction.

Key qualifications and attributes for this role include:

• NZ citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
• CAA NZ Commercial Pilot Licence
• B-Category Instructor Rating
• Exceptional work ethic and team-oriented mindset
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
