​An excellent opportunity has opened for a Float Legal Secretary to join a fantastic team based at a local legal firm in Salisbury.We’re seeking a professional who has at least one year of recent secretarial experience (within the past 2-3 years) and in return you will be joining a professional outfit who offer some fantastic benefits to their new recruits.If variety is the spice of your life and you enjoy a dynamic environment, this role offers the perfect mix of variety and engagement. You will be supporting multiple teams and stepping in during absences and busy periods.Some of the key responsibilities and daily tasks will include:Document preparationAudio typingClient careFile managementDiary managementGeneral admin supportTo be considered for this post, not only will you need that one year’s experience of working in a Legal firm previously but we are also looking for someone who has these skills in abundance:Adaptability: Ability to switch between different teams and tasks with ease.Strong Organisational Skills: Keeping track of various files, documents, and schedules effectively.Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in document preparation and data entry.Excellent IT Proficiency: Competency with legal software, MS Office Suite, and audio typing tools.Interpersonal Skills: Building rapport with various teams and clients.Time Management: Prioritizing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.Effective Communication: Both written and verbal for client interactions and team collaboration.Problem-Solving Abilities: Handling unexpected challenges and multitasking under pressure.Confidentiality: Maintaining discretion and handling sensitive information securely.Client Service Excellence: Providing a high standard of service and professional client care.Proactivity: Anticipating needs and taking initiative without constant supervision.Flexibility: Willingness to adjust to different workloads and support needs.This is a full time position hours are 9am – 5pm Mon-Fri with free parking offered on site.
