Flow cytometry specialist/operator (m/f/d)
Permanent position available!
The position as flow cytometry specialist (TV-L E13 or TV-L E14, depending on qualification) can be turned into a permanent position after two years. The successful candidate will be part of the team of Prof. Christina Zielinski at the Department of Infection Immunology.
Requirements:
· A PhD (TV-L E13/14) or Master degree (or equivalent) or specialist technical training (TV-L E9-E12) and strong experience in the area of flow cytometry obtained in academia or in an industrial environment
· You have earned outstanding skills in flow cytometric assays and gained experience with flow cytometric data analysis tools.
· You are able to perform cell sorting (BD FACSFusion) and flow cytometry analysis (i.e. BD FACSFortessa or Cytec Aurora).
· Combination of excellent technological understanding of flow cytometry and scientific know-how in immunology.
· You are able to work in an independent, quality-oriented fashion, and you are open to new challenges.
· Very good communication and collaboration skills in English are required.
