Location: Reading Gateway Church at St Agnes, South Reading 
Salary: £12-£15/hour dependent on experience.
Hours: 10 hours per week to start with, which may increase as the role develops 
Contract Type: 2-year fixed term contract (subject to a probationary period of 6 months)  

Reading Gateway Church in partnership with FoodWise TLC has established FoodWise Reading Project to provide food courses that teach how to cook healthy food from scratch and ways to make money further. To run this project, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated Food Coach in the South Reading area. This is a key part of our mission activity as a Church. Our vision is for South Reading to experience being transformed by the Good News of Jesus.

We are looking for a self-starter with an outgoing personality where the principal focus of the role is to plan, promote, organise, and run regular food courses during term time and community meals during holidays at our Reading Gateway Church St Agnes site.  We provide a commercial standard kitchen with an adjacent hall.

6 weeks of training will be provided for the successful applicant by FoodWise TLC at their Woking office. Expenses will be paid for. 

 This role will involve working with children, adults, and professionals delivering courses in collaboration with our agreed partners.
