JOB TITLE: OASES Food Durham Co-Ordinator
DURATION: Annual Contract, Part-time (18.5 hours per week)
LOCATION: The EWE Centre, Esh Winning Primary School, Co. Durham, DH7 9BE
SALARY: £31,000 – £35,000 pro rata

OASES is looking to recruit a part-time Food Durham Co-Ordinator to deliver
the National Lottery funded Food Durham Initiative on behalf of OASES and the Food Durham
Partnership.

This is an exciting time to join the OASES Team as we grow and develop our work, reach and
impact. We are a friendly team, passionate about sustainability, food growing and the benefits
of engaging with the natural world. We are looking for a Food Durham Co-Ordinator who shares
our vision to ‘Create a more sustainable world where all can thrive’.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of successful project management, partnership
working and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, keen
gardener/ grower, have experience of the charitable and voluntary sector and an interest and
understanding of food growing systems.

Your background and qualifications should be in either the environmental sciences or
sustainable development. Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
