Job descriptionKS3/4 Food Technology Specialist – OldhamSeptember 2025 startProspero Teaching is looking for a Food Technology Teacher for a long term role, starting September 2025. You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics, both to KS3 and KS4. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long term supply booking.The Technology department, although fairly small, is a welcoming department with a long-standing Head of Faculty in situ. The school is highly regarded in the local and wider community.The position is open to NQT’s/ECT’s and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILSLocation Oldham, Lancashire

Hours 8:30 am 3.30pm (including parents evenings, meetings, and duties in line with a teacher etc)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS– Related degree, with a 2:2 or higher
– UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
– Previous experience working in a UK school
– Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
