Based in our Flagstaff. AZ office, the Forest Program Project Manager works directly with the business unit’s Forest Program Director to establish the Conservancy as a major conservation partner within the area of responsibility. Position analyses and develops tools and communication frameworks to address the Forest Program’s needs and engages community support for the Program’s conservation efforts. The Forest Program Project Manager will develop and implement tactics from approved plans and organize and complete multiple tasks and activities. Uses advanced knowledge of the systems and resources utilized by the forest team to provide programmatic support.
The Forest Program Project Manager will fill multiple project management responsibilities, primarily focusing on (1) Communications with emphasis on developing, implementing and managing communication and/or media tactics that facilitate comprehension, adoption and advancement of the Forest Program’s goals and objectives; and (2) providing project management and administrative support for other Forest Program projects such as grants, agreements, contracts, finance, procurement, facilities and reporting.

SALARY INFORMATION
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $61,400-$83,000 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate’s location, qualifications, specific skills, experience, and internal equity. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
