Yuba Environmental Science Charter Academy, in beautiful Yuba County CA, is seeking a part-full time Forestry Natural Resources CTE instructor for their small Charter High School.   

For the right qualified candidate, and relocation area dependent, potential moving/ RV space reimbursement/relocation bonus considered for the perfect candidate.  Instructor’s students are prioritized for enrollment at this unique K-12 public charter program, with focus’ on environmental education, forestry and natural resources, entrepreneurship and digital media arts.

Must qualify for a CA CTE Agriculture and Natural Resources CTE (DSC) Credential with 3 years / (3000 hours) or more of experience in the last 5 years.   NO Bachelors needed if you qualify with 3 years of documented industry paid or volunteer expertise and experience.   BA and MA, and existing teaching credentials in CA/ US start higher on the salary scale, but industry experience of 3000+ documented hours qualify you for this position.  We provide coaching, curriculum support and have a fully-funded program with amazing resources and community partners. Health and retirement benefits are a component of this certificated position.

Work experience may include positions in: Agriculture, Agriscience, Natural Resources,Naturalist,  Environmental Education, Park/ Camp Maintenance and/ or Mechanics, Plant or Soil or Water Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary science or assistance or a combination. (3000 hrs. Min)
