FP&A AnalystBroadstairs, Kent – office basedCompetitive plus benefitsIconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering again with our key client, Fujifilm, in their search for an experienced FP&A Analyst to join the business in Broadstairs, Kent.Fujifilm is a Japanese global leader in imaging, information, and document solutions. The Broadstairs site comprises of Group functions and a manufacturing site.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the finance function and wider business with effective analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting support. This pivotal role will involve providing strategic financial insights, supporting decision-making processes, and optimising financial performance to drive business success.We are looking for Qualified Accountants ideally from an FP&A or Financial Analyst background in manufacturing, though other sectors will be considered. Strong business partnering and analytical skills are essential.Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating and direct involvement with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including rolling forecasting and providing effective support to business unit leaders.
- Analyse manufacturing cost structures, identifying opportunities to optimise costs and improve profitability.
- Prepare variance analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to management.
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial reviews with actionable insights and performance metrics.
- Business partner and build relationships with colleagues across the global, including in Japan, India and the USA.
- Collaborate with operational teams to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and improve overall efficiency.
- Assist in long-term strategic planning and scenario modeling for manufacturing operations.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Support ad hoc projects, including R&D expenditure evaluations, commercial opportunity analysis and supply chain financial analysis.
- Occasional travel to sites in the USA and, rarely, India.
Previous ExperienceThe successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant, likely from an industry background, with strong demonstrable experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles. Experience in a manufacturing setting would be preferred.
