This job appears on /jobs/28001-FPA-AnalystFP&A Analyst – Borehamwood – £40,000-£45,000 + benefitsI’m working with a fast-moving business in Borehamwood that’s looking to bring in an FP&A Analyst to support their growing commercial finance team. It’s a broad role in a business where finance has a genuine seat at the table.What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning
• Preparing monthly management accounts with supporting commentary
• Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analysing key variances and investigating trends
• Working with non-finance teams to explain the numbers and influence decision-making
• Improving and automating existing reporting where possible
• Supporting ad hoc projects and financial modelling as the business grows

What they’re looking for:

• A solid grounding in month-end – ideally from a management accounts or analyst background
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Someone commercially curious, confident communicating with non-finance teams
• Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (or qualified by experience – they’re open)
• Local enough to be in the office 2-3 days a week
