Freight Coordinator – Witham, Essex – Up to £35,000Role OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Freight Coordinator to join a fast-paced and dynamic logistics environment. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding, with a strong focus on export operations. You will play a key role in managing the full cycle of import/export shipments, ensuring compliance with international regulations and maintaining a high standard of customer service.Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00am to 17:00pmSalary: £32,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)Benefits

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end export process, including compliance with country-specific requirements
Serve as the primary contact for customer communications
Handle supplier and customer queries efficiently
Ensure timely and accurate billing
Oversee all aspects of export shipments
Resolve customer issues and provide excellent service
Maintain accurate and timely documentation flow
Operate independently within the export workflow
Demonstrate solid knowledge of supplier terms, delivery conditions, Incoterms, and purchasing terms
Utilize internal computer systems and manage invoicing effectively
Understand and apply Customs regulations and export documentation procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally
Manage time and workload independently

Requirements:

Experience with a UK based freight forwarder (Min. 5 years experience)
UK based with right to work in the UK (No sponsorship on offer)
Strong understanding of UK freight procedures
Computer literate with Microsoft Office (and/or other logistics platforms)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments
