Position Summary:

The College of Engineering & Computer Science is seeking a Front Desk Assistant, Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Greet individuals who enter the office, answer questions, and perform other tasks requested.

  • Ensure lobby is neat and handouts/forms are appropriately stocked.

  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and voicemails.

  • Assist students with scheduling appointments.

  • Ordering of supplies and equipment for office and special event needs.

  • Reserve rooms as appropriate in the Engineering East building.

  • Perform various other administrative/clerical duties as assigned by the Directors & Associate Directors within the Advising & Student Services Office.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma and two years experience required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must also have excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position.

Salary:

$16.00 per hour.

Temporary positions are not established positions and are paid from OPS funds.
